We were happy to co-host with the Women's Foreign Policy Group (WFPG), the event namely, Critical Minerals in Conversation: Economic Security and the U.S.-Africa Relationship, held at Tanzania House. H.E. Amb. Dr. Elsie Sia Kanza delivered opening remarks and Alexa Chopivsky, WFPG Executive Director provided welcoming remarks. A keynote address was delivered by British Robinson, Coordinator of Prosper Africa. The event also held a panel discussion which featured Kristi Rogers, Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Principal to Principal, and Florizelle (Florie) Liser, President and CEO of the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA), moderated by Dr. Gracelin Baskaran, PhD, Director of the Critical Minerals Security Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). The panel focused on bolstering U.S.-Africa strategic partnership with regard to critical minerals. Several African Ambassadors attended the event, as well as other members of the Diplomatic Corps and members of the WFPG.
